2026 TEXAS NUCLEAR SUMMIT

September 21–23, 2026 | Houston, Texas
Hosted by the Texas Nuclear Alliance, the 2026 Texas Nuclear Summit welcomed 700+ attendees from industry, government, academia and business for three days of programming focused on the continued growth of nuclear energy in Texas and across the United States. The Summit featured 85+ speakers, 55 sponsors and 33 sessions, making the third annual event its largest to date.
The three-day Summit combined high-level programming with intentionally designed networking and hospitality experiences, including a VIP Dinner, Welcome Party, Speed Networking at The Rustic, mainstage keynotes and panels, concurrent breakout sessions, networking receptions and dedicated attendee spaces.
The program brought together an exceptional group of federal and state leaders, including Kyle Haustveit, Under Secretary of Energy, U.S. Department of Energy; Matthew J. Marzano, Commissioner, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission; State Representative Cody Harris; State Representative Greg Bonnen; Thomas Gleeson, Chairman, Public Utility Commission of Texas; Chancellor Brandon Creighton of Texas Tech University System, Chancellor Glenn Hegar of the Texas A&M University System, and Jarred Shaffer, Director, Texas Advanced Nuclear Energy Office. Together with leaders from across the nuclear industry, speakers addressed nuclear deployment, rapidly growing electricity demand, investment and commercialization, workforce and supply chain development, and the evolving state and federal policy landscape.
Programming explored the full nuclear ecosystem — from deployment and project execution to power demand, investment, fuel, workforce, regulation and national security — while creating opportunities for direct engagement among the public officials, regulators, investors and industry leaders shaping nuclear energy's next phase.
